 Charitable Activities
| The Carleton Place Ambulance Staff Association is in its 14th year of running a
Charity Curling Bonspiel. Through the efforts of all involved, including generous
donations from local business they have raised over $15,000 which has been presented to
the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. In return, the association was presented a
plaque, entering them into the "ORDER OF THE GOOD BEAR". It is hoped that the
staff of Lanark County Ambulance Service will continue these types of activities through
the transition to this new service.
